Swapping a 4l60e

Theres a 4l60e transmission for sale off a 98 transam. I want to find out if i can do a clean swap on my kids 96 camaro v6. Any information about this would be very helpful.

No. The '98 Trans Am is an LS1 car. The transmission differs in many ways from your sons '96 V-6.
