T56 clutch fork parts?
T56 clutch fork parts?
So I swapped a T56 in about a year ago, buying a complete conversion setup from a guy here on CZ28. I haven't driven the car much in the last year, but now that I have the entire drivetrain out, I'd like to fix a rattle I've been having since I installed the tranny. With the clutch out at idle, I get a pretty loud knock/rattle from the transmission.
I can fix the problem by applying a little pressure on the clutch pedal. I know that T56 rattle is a semi-common problem, but I think this is a result of something I did wrong. When I bought the tranny all the hardware came in a coffee can, and I seem to remember leaving a piece out when I was putting it together. I seem to remember it being a clear piece of rubber/plastic, like the little condom on the end of the slave cylinder.
Problem is, I went to the dealer, asked them about it, had them fire up the parts diagram, and nothing like I remember showed up. I was hoping that maybe someone knew what I was talking about, and had a part number, or a picture, or one for sale. So...am I crazy? Anyone have a picture of the parts in the clutch fork assembly go together?
Thanks for any help/info!

I know the piece you're talking about. It performs two functions: it holds the slave cylinder push rod in place for a new assembly (shipping aid) as well as buffers the connection between the slave cylinder push rod and the clutch fork. I doubt the part is sold separately. It's basically a plastic cap; you might be able to find something at a hardware store to mimic it.
