I can't get my 94 z28 to go to first gear. Everything else seems to work fine..... Any ideas on the problem.....

This is not a common complaint on a 4L60E. Any codes? I'd want to drive this with a data capable scanner on it, to see what the computer is commanding. It won't even start in 1st, manually? If it were a shift solenoid issue, you should be missing either 2nd or 4th also.
