Mcleod Street twin clutch driveability

I am leaning towards Mcleod street 2 clutch kit as dont want to do it twice - the planning is to go supercharging way within short anyway. Have done some searching here but could not find clear answer as to Mcleod's driveability on street - the car is mostly daily driver including stop go traffic with occasional drag and auto-x use - awaiting your experience please.

No chatter, no slip, and great driveability. It's very important to install it properly...make sure to take measurements and install the necessary shims per the instructions.

I agree with the above post; no drivability issues at all.

Fine, took mine a few miles to break in though.

Great clutch, feels almost like stock. No chatter, etc. After 500+ break-in miles everyday driving in stop-and-go traffic is as good as it can be in this traffic (DC area)

Re: Mcleod Street twin clutch driveability

im sorry but can not agree with everybody statement about how drivable this clutch is. ive only had it for about 50 miles in the car. i only drive once or twice a month. clutch is either on or off with very little slippage. clutch came assymbled so i know all is ok and i double measured before install. i hope clutch gets better when i get more miles on it.

Re: Mcleod Street twin clutch driveability

My Street Twin was not much different that the stock clutch.... maybe 20% more pedal pressure, and a shade quicker on the "grab". But definitely street friendly.

Re: Mcleod Street twin clutch driveability

You need to let those ST's break in before they become more driveable. Mine was grabby as hell until I got a couple of hundred miles on it. It was either engaged or disegaged and NO in between till I got some break in miles, then it was pretty smooth.
