Charles,
this link is the answer to your problem http://www.geocities.com/cahallperfo...sions/CPT.html
Frank Built me a 4L60E to handle the NOS kit you sold me last year and alot more thats coming,
he has cars running in the 10.90's with the same trans I have and he is not that far from you (Elkton MD) he is very knowledgable and will steer you right on what you need for your setup. give him a call! you wont be sorry.

I know your name because as I stated in the post above " the N20 kit you sold me last winter" it was the TPI kit #5151. remember ????

Re: Help pick a trany setup
A PROPERLY built 4L60E is more than capable of carrying you deep into the 10 second zone. Notice I stress "Properly". There are only a handful of builders that are capable of building one correctly.

Re: Help pick a trany setup
As Frank said, there are a few of us that can do this right. I am assuming the transmission you are using now, is still working ok? Then you might want to build something ahead of time, to replace yours when the time comes. Give me "all" of the particulars of your drivetrain, & how you drive. The more information, the better. Let me know?
