Help identifying my Drive Shaft

I bought this driveshaft from a guy, and it was taken off his 1994 Camaro. All he really knew was it's aluminum (which is correct), and it fit his Camaro. He said he had bought it from a friend of his earlier in the year and didn't know where it had originally come from. I was originally looking for an LS1 drive shaft but this one seemed just as good or better so i bought it. My question is does anyone know where you can purchase a spicer driveshaft for a camaro(Spicer is stamped all over it). How strong are these compared to other driveshafts means how it only weighed 10lbs on my scale. How much do these cost new? Thanks for any and all help!

I think yours would probably be a stock aluminum driveshaft off a LS-1 car then. Most the LS-1 drive shafts were manufactured in Three Rivers. Mine is some sort of aftermarket aluminum shaft. With no stickers on it. The only thing it says is "Spicer" on the driveshaft ends.....Thanks for the input though, and keep it coming!

Helpful hint.... "LT1 Based Engine Tech" is only for topics regarding engines. I'll move your post to the "Drivetrain" forum for you.
