I am having my shift kit modified for free tomorrow at my neighbors garage right after i get off work. So i had to go out and get fluid. I couldnt get to pepboys because the highway was backed up for miles and miles. I couldnt get to autozone because the bridge was closed. Just short of stabbing someone i went to the nearest parts store i could find. So i got this fluid, it was the only dexron III stuff there. Its from a company called Parts Master. I was wondering if this would be a good idea to use this fluid or if i should put off this whole thing so i have time to get some kinda better fluid. Or does it just not matter as long as its the right stuff?

 

yeeepp so i guess ill send this one on its way back up there to the top..

 

I am a "brand name" sort of guy for vital fluids. Though it will probably be fine, as it is almost certainly made by one of the big refiners and packaged as a "private label" brand.

thanks.. i left it to last minute and then was completely screwed by closed down bridges and evacuated towns in my area for the flooding. I had to buy this because we were going into my transmission to change up the transgo kit a little...OH BOY was that an interesting adventure. I have to go back to my friends garage to finish today.
