gears recomdation

gears recomdation

hey guys what gears are you running on the street with a t56 and what tires are you running???

I am thinking of putting 4:11 in mine what do you think

normal bolt~ons looking at the hot cam and not sure if im gunna spray it or not

4.10's work very well with the T56's two steep O/D ratios. You'll need sticky tires. If you can live with the wet driving limitations of shallow tread drag radials, they are great with the 4.10's.

My first car was 3.42's, 2nd had 3.73's which had a noticeable difference, then came the 4.10's. Definitely my recommendation for some fun on the street. With 5th and 6th you still have plenty of gear for the highway but still have lots of fun on the bottom 4 gears.

4.10 or you could go 4.30s if you wanted, will still run on the highway, gas gauge will go down a little faster tho

With just bolt-ons 4.10's seem good to me.
