C-Clip Eliminators

Has anyone used these Strange Safety Hubs on a 3 channel stock rear with disk brakes (1993-1997)?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ST...n/?prefilter=1

Do the brake brackets have to be machined? Is there enough room for them to fit with a stock length axle?

Thanks!

Not sure they work with the smaller (7.5/7.625) 10 bolts. http://www.strangeengineering.net/catalog/index.html, see page 16 of their catalog. I was looking at these when my plan was to beef up the 10 bolt but am now leaning towards 9" or dana when the diff gives up the ghost so did not fully research.

I think that you need new axles along with the eliminator kit.

I thought if you have rear disc brakes that you didn't need c-clip eliminators? Those axles aren't going anywhere....

Re: C-Clip Eliminators

good point, the axle can't come off if the c clip fails as the disc/caliper/bracket would stop it from coming out of the housing. Still would pretty much demolish the rear end though.
