Codes but not fixed yet...
Codes but not fixed yet...
Here are the 2 codes I am still throwing in my 94 Auto Z28 LT1.
59 - Transmission Fluid Temp sensor circuit high - low temp
81 - QDM or shift B solenoid fault
The trans is new/rebuild and I spent the day replacing the shift solenoids and that still did not fix the problem of either of these codes.
Any ideas what else to check/replace for these codes?
Thanks!

What is your actual fluid temp, on a data scan? Is the "B" solenoid being commanded? What are the actual driving symptoms your having?
This sounds like a wiring or computer issue. The Quad Driver Module is a part of the computer.

Well thats the issue is I have a scanner but it isn't the type where I can read the sensors. I can just get codes. I figured I would replace the shift solenoids but still nothing. Same codes still.
As far as driving issues honestly I really do not feel any issues driving it. I know it is sluggish off the line but it also has a 2400 stall in it. I know ever so often at around 35-40mph cruising it will studder or feel like a miss so that could be the tranny but just figured it might be a tune up issue.

The Quad Driver Modules were only used through 1993. Beginning in 1994, they are no longer used. Use Shoebox's LT1-specific code list:

There's a tab at the bottom of the page for tranny codes.

Oh ok,
So it still shows my 2-3 shift solenoid circuit and I replaced both solenoids so what else could be causing that problem? and the other code still shows to be the tranny fluid temp sensor circuit high ( low temp indicated).
Thanks for the heads up on the codes being different now I have to track down the problem. Seems that the only thing left is the wiring but not sure where to even begin there. I could still replace the pressure manifold sensor but would that effect either of the codes given?
I still can not track down my code 53 (system high voltage) which it seems to come and go sometimes as well. Maybe that could be causing an issue?
Thanks!

Yeah, I hate wiring but I do not see if being the tranny as it's new/rebuilt. I know it can happen but I have alot more wiring that had to be done on this car so that could be the issue.
Where do the tranny wires go from the plug on the tranny? I know they go up to the PCM but where do they go from there? Would the wires run through the C200 connecting wires?
Thanks

Shoebox has a complete harness assembly with labels on his website. Its for a 95, but its basically the same as your 94.

He also had the complete PCM wiring diagrams, which will be similar as well.

Thanks.
I have looked at those 2 diagrams but I am wondering if the wires from the PCM then go through the c200 connector at any point and time. I had to rewire that entire connection and might have crossed the wires or such and have yet to find a diagram for that c200 connector under the dash in the drivers side kick panel.
I appreciate your help

Shoebox also has the harness connector pinouts, but I don't see one for C200. There is also a tab for the 4L60E connector, but the link to the pin diagram is dead.
