Clutch pedal is stuck
Clutch pedal is stuck
Need some advice... while driving last week I pushed in the clutch to shift
at around 45mph and the pedal stayed down to the floor I couldnt even move
the shifter it was stuck in gear. I was in the middle of a major road so I tried
forcing the pedal not knowing what was goin on. Pulled over had to get it flat bed home. after inspecting the damage I damaged the push rod it was bent
so I replaced the hydraulics hoping that would do it. But the brand new pre bled from Gm would not go down the clutch pedal wont go down at all. I did not want to apply pressure to only damage the new hydraulics. Any advice
the push rod pushes into the fork right ? So something malfunctioned

Re: Clutch pedal is stuck
Well I found the problem had to pull the tranny turns out the throwout bearing
fell apart Totally. I guess thats what the crunch sound was when i pressed the clutch. And the GM dealer wants $193.00 for a new one I dont see why
those things are so expensive. And to make matters worse I found out I have
a broken tooth on my 1year old brand new fidanza $380.00 aluminum flywheel
I tried to start the car a few months ago and heard the banging out of no where from the starter I'm gonna go back to stock flywheel. would it be a good idea to change the starter too.
