If your car is completely stock yes its a good time, even with a couple of bolt ons its a good time. Ive been to the drags more then i can count, so ive seen a few Stock LT1 run e.t's on the quarter. With better gearing you will be faster 3:42 or 3:73's.

yes, i ran that completley stock. What was your trap speed?

3.73s will be a night and day difference

not sure on speed

mine has 2.73 gears and it an auto....here are the mods

K&n cold air, smooth intake elbow, mad z28.com tune, ported and polished MAF, CATS delete, AIR delete, True Duals, energy suspension transmission mount and torque arm mount, msd wires and coil, oh yeah and an under drive pulley

all my friends keep telling me that its because my my gears...they say that i could put 3.73 and be down somewhere around 13.5-13.7 depending on how my car reacts to the gears

Your friends are around the right times. It wouldn't be a whole second, but around a half. What do you mean by true duals? do you have long tube headers with pipes straight back?

The trans mount, msd coils and wires, torque arm mount, ported maf, AIR delete, and CATS delete do little to nothing for speed/power, but are good mods none the less. The only one I would suggest changing is the ported maf. Go back to a stock, UNTOUCHED MAF sensor. The more power you make, and more air flow you gain the harder it is going to be to tune your car correctly. The screen, and fins are there to help straighten airflow for a correct reading.

Do a search on mafs, you'll see the light, and then buy a "good" used stock maf.

14.2 is about right for a stock auto'd 2.73 car. See my sig, my 95 Z28 ran that on a bone stock motor from intake to exhaust. Only mod was a Vig 2800 but didn't help me any. I took out the paper air filter and ran a 14.1 lol. But I think my trap speed is a little on the slow side, I'd expect it to trap around 99.

i ran 13.9 with the exhaust unhooked on an otherwise stock car with the dealer tag still on it with a 2.0 60'

but when it's really really hot my car ran as slow as a 14.3

trapped 99.87 mph that way

Pretty good time, now put some go fast juice on it and drop that to low 13's

Soccerbum, are all your mods in your sig? If so then what tires are u running to get your 60 down? I cant get my 60 down to even close to that and i still had the 2.73's in when I ran.

moroso intake, cutout, mickey thompson ET street (26x10.5x16), 51 jet nitrous, 31 jet fuel. no stall, B&M shift improver kit, very very mild computer tune, walbro 255 full weight. 3663 with me and a 1/4 tank of gas in it (me=220 lbs)

oh, and i have to give a LOT of credit to the people at Carolina Dragway. i have been to several other tracks and can't get the 60' times that i get at the House of Hook.

oh, and those times were on stock front and rear shocks, iwth eibach sportline springs in the front...i have the summit 3 way adjustable drag shocks on hte rear and KYB AGX shocks on the front now with the same springs...otherwise sotck suspension and removed sway bar
