i was the track last night at academy raceway. and this guy who was saying what mod he did on his motor til i asked what kind rear end do you have. he said a beef up 10 bolt with 3:10 gears and he welded locker to make the wheels spin at the same time. well, i was wonder if that alright to do that on my 10 bolt til i get the 12 bolt or it is dangers to do that?

 

im assuming what he's talking about is that he welded up the posi unit.this is a cheap way to lock your wheels together.as far as making the 10 bolt stronger save your money for a 12bolt, 9in, or dana60.i dont know why he would have 3:10 gears most people get lower gears not higher

 

but is safe to use and alright to ride daily!!

 

I wouldn't do it for a daily driver. You would be sorry you did.

 

WELL, THAT ENOUGH TO NOT TO DO IT!!!!! i just wait til i get the 12 next year spring!
