Powerglide + 454 in chevelle

hello,

i'm converting a 66 Chevelle from it's 307 to a 454. The 454 is supposed to make about 450 rwhp with lots of torque.

My trans is a powerglide. it has never been rebuilt and i'm planning on making a rebuilt on it when swapping the engine.

I want to know if i need at same to upgrade some parts in it or a normal rebuilt is enough for this engine ?

A stock rebuild should be fine if it's a 1.76:1 first gear. I use a 'glide in my race car that has only a few non-stock parts and is making about 850hp (though it only weighs 2,2000lbs).
