Wish me luck! Going to the track on new setup

I'm heading out to Beech Bend tonight to try out the new setup. The car feels good, hopefully get some new bests. I'm still on my 230/236 stock head tune, but I will make a few changes at the track.

I guess I didn't get enough luck I made part of one pass here's how she looked before the Accell Opti exploded
rt .016
60' 1.694
330 4.842
1/8 7.479
mph 93.49
1000 9.779
1/4 11.767
mph 109.78
She started popping when I shifted into 3rd, I guess the opti didn't like the rpm I think it would have been a 11.4-11.5 pass, oh well I guess **** happens.

Lol, I have an almost identical pass to that (8th mile) on motor. Ironically my Mallory box stopped working and I lost Tach signal and started breaking up much like you. Now the box is off to Mallory for a refresh.

Good start to the run though.

Still not bad for only one pass down the strip.

Yeah, I just wished I could have made a full pass or at least driven the car home That's the first time my car has ever broke down at the track.[/I]

Don't get me wrong, I'm very pleased with the ET. Can't wait till I get a new Opti, Dyno Tuned, and some cool weather. Then maybe I will reach my goal 85* sucks when your pushing a heavy *** car
