Exclamation

I'll assume it is still an LS1 based block (either a regular LS1 block, Iron truck block, or C5-R).

I personally am more impressed with that than the "stock-style" suspension stuff.....so Wade also holds the title of fastest factory style motored 4th Gen.

Looks like the upcoming LT1 cars that may beat that time will really not be LT1 cars at all.

Hey Guys, its a 3250lb 98 Camaro with our 422 Re-Sleeved LS1 block w/ custom ARP head and main fasteners, LS1 heads, TNT DP, stock BMR suspension, with a Powerglide and 9" rear with 28x10's slicks. It has made almost 800rwhp last time on the dyno, but is making 100hp more as we increase power levels at the track.

And I still have my little 9sec LT1 that will be running next season into the 8's hopefully!

Ya, it looks like all the major LT1's guys(except a few) are going to stronger aftermarket blocks to go deep into the 8's.

Congrats guys!! The car looks killer with what youve done with the rear! Tucking the slicks up under there really makes the car! Sounds great, runs great too! One question though...How did you get those rims to fit on the back? Narrowed rear? Im very impressed! Im excited about whats in store for the stock style suspended f-bodies on the racing scene in the near future! 03 should be very interesting!!
