i had a tci converter on my th-400 and it held up real nice and i would definetly buy another converter from them, they seem too be cheaper than many other brands and better than quite a few brands.

Yea, I have a TCI Streetfighter and just the other day the SOB wouldn't lock up right. Tried a tranny fluid change, some type of non-slip additive, PCM reprogram..... nothing worked. I put the stocker back in and the shop took a hack at the TCI. Found the lining that rubs together in the converter to make it lock up was shot. So too is the converter now.

i have a TCI 9" 4200-4500 stall in my car. It cut a 1.74 60" time last night on the way to 12.8@104 so it hits pretty hard. It is being replaced only because i found a used yank 3000
