WOW thats movin.

Congrats to Wade and all the guys at ARE.

Very impressed that this run was made without the transbrake. Should be able to clip another .1-.2 once the suspension gets dialed in and they get the trans brake working again.

So who is gonna stup up and take the LT1 crown?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
I can't believe it's taken this long.

Now let's see who can have the first Stock Suspended 4th Gen over 160mph

Or??? Can a Stock Suspended 4th Gen go 8.5

Time will tell!

George

Well I'm not trying to bust any ***** hear, does Wade's car Really have a Stock Suspension? Looks like pretty big tire on the back, maybe it's just me. And what I call stock, maybe you don't. Stock to me is no modifications, or stock torque arm, control arms, etc., And you know what they say about opinions........

It's "stock style" suspension(i.e. torque-arm). They did move the axle-side LCA mounts inboard a bit though.

I believe our car will go 8.70's on a better 60', so 8.50's isn't out of the question..

WOW

Rich Krause

FWIW: I think the term "stock-type" suspension would be a bit more realistic.

Stock type suspension , meaning it still uses a Torque Arm , lower control arms and a panhard rod . As opposed to a 4 link or ladder bar set up .

they never rented the track,it was a regular test and tune day.
several people from my club were there to see the run.
They have been on the verge of 8`s all year but I guess the cool air and some tinkering just pushed them over.

congrats guys
