new 1/8th mile time..

Finally made it back out to the dragstrip and got some new times. This was with basically no track prep because it was only a grudge night, but they still kept track of the times for you in the tower.
best E/T run of the night..
R/T 0.829
60' 2.196
330' 5.845
1/8 8.864
mph 81.81

best mph run of the night..
R/T 0.613
60' 2.253
330' 5.941
1/8 8.956
mph 82.07

so how do these times fall in line for my mods? for some reason that seems slow for everything i have done..

hmm, I dont know the track or the weather but I would think the mph would be higher for the mods. For comparison, my A4 with mods below, before the stall, ran a 8.76 81.94 with a 2.160ft. That wasnt even in winter. You have true duals and gears over me. Maybe someone can chime here who has a M6.

Your times aren't bad, if you can improve your sixty foot times, you will shave quite abit of your overall time.

i hope so, and im sure my singed plug wire wasnt helping my times either... im still a bit angry about that, but oh well. hopefully ill get a solid run out of her one of these days, biggest thing i THINK is that im leaving the line at less than 1200rpms in a manual car because after that i spin, and if i hammer the clutch too hard it spins then =/. but that woudlnt affect my mph would it?

What kind of new tires? Your 60 foot times are still not great. Get that 60 foot down around 1.9 and you should be seeing some 8.5s.

cheap hankooks, my old set needed replaced bad and got a nail in the right rear. Im not sure exactly what they are but theyre a dry/wet type tire in a 275/35/18 rear. I still think i can improve on my shifting some too, my car use to pull 5.5x in the 330' before i swapped to the 6spd, i suppose powershifting is the next op, but i dont wanna break my new trans yet lol.
