Good Weekend...

We had the "Super Ten Series" come to our track this weekend. Kind of different they race 1/8 mile. Anyway it was a two day event with payouts each day, won both days, I'm wore out now.

Now I can take the earnings it put some more stuff back into the car.

My 1/8 mile times were low as 7.45 to high as 7.54. MPH times were right around 90.00 to 90.70

Fantastic. Two days in a row is tough to do!

My weekend was less than spectacular.

In Street I went out in round #2. Wasted a .523 light when the car ran way off by .08, and lost in round three in Modified when my .527 was good enough but the car brok out by .02. I only was around 108 for mph and I had a 130 mph 10.10 car comming up my butt and didn't let off soon enough. He was only .01 off his dial so it was extremely close. Thats racing.

I could sure use a weekend like you had to climb back up the points ladder. Congratulations.

Temps were in the mid to upper 80's, humidty around 60% and the baro was about 30.05

We did more tuning on the car Friday night and adjusted the timing and adjusted the fuel. O2's on some of the runs were in the 980's or more, now there back down in the low 900's

tnthub - I still can't believe what I done. The Saturday round I thought I was going to be gone early. I bought back on the first round. Had a .253 light , after that I settled down and started running my lights, anywhere from .520 - .580. Sunday just started off right and kept going. We had one practice round and started right into eliminations.

I had some lights in the .600 and .700 range lucky for me so did the person that I was running against. I remember one round I beat the other guy by .001 very close racing in these type of events, that 1/8 mile comes very quick.

This is by far the biggest win $$$ I have got in a long time, it will sure come in handy for the new parts for the car.

Congrats on the wins! That's quite an accomplishment!

A couple of years ago Atco held a big money weekend with the payouts $5,000, $50,000 and $10,000 - Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively. They also threw in a few high roller races and S&W (I think) sponsored a race to win a dragster.

Peter Biondo won the $50,000, $5,000 and the dragster. Now people hand him wins because they're nervous and screw up.

I'm surprised about the lights though - anything above a .520 r/t at Atco will put you out first round. It's a pretty tough track to run.

Congratulations again - you must be walking on water...

I ordered some QA1's for the front, hopefully they should be here this week. I'm also relocating the battery to the rear for more bite.

Just some low 1.6's. Not the best, but still not bad.
The best 60's ever is low to mid 1.5's (not at my local track).
