It is a drag car now although it still has power steering heater, wipers, radio and power windows all still in and operating. swapped the trans to a turbo 400 with a select 4400 stall speed converter. If I put the passangers seat back in it would qualify for our quick street program.(would have to put the dot legal slicks back on also)

Since it's a drag car now, put in a powerglide and 9"s won't be hard to reach. Finding some way to shave 200 pounds off the car wouldn't hurt either.

Nice! It takes a big blower to get my pig down the track that quick. What tire and suspension setup are you using?

Here are some answers to various questions

I usually trap somewhere between 7200-7400rpm

shifts are at 7500rpm

I run hoosier 29x10x15 slicks

suspension is stock except for a BMR tourqe arm the different rearend and Hal shocks all around hal springs up front and Eibach rear springs w/air bag and a wolf rear sway bar.

The engine builder quoted 570+hp on the build sheet but it was never dyno'd .

Over the winter the suspension will be looked at as I am not happy with the 60' time (varies beteen 1.45 and 1.50.)

Keith, nice to see you go a few rounds yesterday.... I was hoping to meet up with you in the finals but Willie laid a .513 on me and hit his number.

It was fun lost in the semis I took the stripe by.010 but we both broke out and he got me by .009. I actualy had the better light by.002 and we both bailed a bit at the top end but I had picked up.03 in the 60'. I am hoping to make the team to Ohio but I have missed a lot of races this season so I will have to wait and see. See you Sunday

Nice times. Are you running a aftermarket PCM or have you made the change to carb?
