I suppose the main thing i am looking for is a company that will stand behind their product, build a quality product, and produce desired results. That 9x11 looks like a nice setup after checking out their website. Now the company seems small, what is your experience with them?

96lt1, you are not the only person that i have heard with a Coan and poor 60' times.
Nothing beats PTS Xtreme and their irregardless warranty. It just doesn't get better than that.

Yank had a problem with their 3800 series converters which they basically self distructed and left many with very expensive repairs. They generally didn't take full responsibility and many got "yanked". That is the problem with mass production. If you have a problem it is duplicated to many units.

Get a custom built PTS Xtreme 9X11 TC. You won't be disappointed. I wouldn't have the fastest 95Z with no motor mods without it. That was the single best mod I've done with the headers being a close second. And I don't work for PTS. I'm just a VERY satisfied customer.

LOL!!!!

I see you like that Yank converter some what. It should be nice for what he charges for his converters! For what he charges you could have a custome built converter done. But I would bet that converter doesn't hold a 1/1 lockup ratio offering less than 1% converter slip. The Neil Chance does.

I'll tell ya what I will put my NEIL CHANCE 2 PIECE BOLT TOGETHER CONVERTER up against your Yank converter and see what heppens. LOL!!

The Chance has a great rep. I kind of wish I had bought one, but the $1,700 price kinda scared me off. Maybe next time?

You don't seem to be following the post at all here. These comments are way out in left field. Are you trying to confuse the guy or what? Maybe you've been told some incorrect information.

RELAX! What are ya trying to say about this guy he's retarded? I'm pretty sure he can form his own opion. And that opion is if a person runs a Turbo 400 then IMO go with a Neil Chance.

And yes I do follow! This guy should call Neil Chance to see if they even offer a converter for the 4L60E. Chance also offers a 2 year unconditional warrenty. If you want a good converter theya re the company to call. Chance also offers some other converters they make that are not as exspensive.

Give them a call.

My new 9.5" non lock-up PROTORQUE has went a 1.67 with the new head/cam combination...Still with the stock suspension...12.05 @ 112.35 MPH.

I'm relaxed Jim. I'm not upset or trying to show you up or anything. It was just that your comments made no sense. Especially in light of everything else that was said. You also seemed to imply that PTS and Yank were the same but they aren't.

As far as your recommendation, it seemes good ol' Neil makes some high priced stuff. I don't think I'd take a "Chance" for this application. LOL! J/K I honestly have no experience with his products and he may have a good high end application but it really doesn't seem like the best choice in this case.

When choosing a TC remember:

1. Good product right for the application
2. Good price
3. Good warranty
4. Good service
5. Good reputation
6. Stall speed taking into account future mods
7. Mass produced or custom built?

PTS has all the bases covered and they have made it real easy by offering a spec sheet online so they can Custom build a unit to best fit your needs. I have no doubt a PTS Xtreme 9X11 would be the best choice in this case.
