what dose this mean?
vss is vehical speed sensor
tcc is torque converter clutch
im not sure what pnp nignel is ,poss pnp signal? but i still dont know what pnp isso im no help there .to better help you well need the numbers of the codes, because there is several differant codes for both the vss and tcc.i think there might of been more info if you page down on the scanner it seems as though there was more info you didnt see.it might of looked like ''tcc power fault'' or ''vss output too low'' or ''pnp signal too high'' if you can get us the numbers that go with to the trouble codes then we can tell you exactly whats wrong and how to fix it.

well the thing is i dont have it hooked up to a code reader i had my harness messed (took out wires i didnt need and what not) to put it in my chevelle and the wires and hanning out of the harness with those lables on them. do you think i need those wirres? i dont have a v.s.s any more and what is the torque converter clutch dose it have somthing to do with the lock up? could the vss be vheicle safty system? i guss it dose not matter if i have them hooked up sence it an open loop right?
"Open loop" has nothing to do with the VSS, TCC or PNP. Open loop is determined by the coolant temp, functioning O2 sensors and a timer. Being in open or closed loop will not determine when those codes are set.
sweet thats for the info. what about the tcc? also dose anyone have a pic of the ses? all i have is a wire with not connection on it. would i still need the ses even if iam not running a 4l60e?
i found the pic and sence my tranny is not a 4l60e its just a 700r4 i dont remember seeing that on the tail shaft
