Rewire DLC from a 94 into a 95 help

Ok, can't find a clear answer to this. History, bought a 95 Z shell. Installing a 94 pcm and engine harness. Car has the OBDII style DLC under the dash. I want to install a 94 DLC I have so my tuning cable will work. Used this as reference... http://shbox.com/1/dlc1.jpg . Some items are unclear. What needs to be hooked up and where? Need to be able to program the 94 pcm. I don't usually deal with the obdII stuff. Thanks.

Both the 94 and 95 are OBDI. Your best bet would be an adapter to connect the OBDI cable to an OBDII connector. They exist, or you can roll your own. Or you can purchase a cable from the known providers.

If you change to the wrong kind of ALDL connector for the car, you're going to be the DPO when the next guy goes to troubleshoot something.

(Although, it would solve the "Do I need a new PCM? Autozone can't scan my OBD2 '95" problem...)

Just use two jumper wires between your existing cable and the existing ALDL connector.

The exist plug is crap. Need the obd1 connector in there. I really don't care at this point if the next owner has an issue, it was a $400 shell that this guy is going to keep.

A and M is all you need to communicate with the PCM.
