Question how to rewire speakers

i have a 94 z28 with the 3 speaker set up.i just purchased the pioneer head unit with the internal amp which is 52-4 i think.since it has an internal amp i have to take out all the stock speakers and amps so they dont blow up.i also have to rewire the car.i know how to install the head unit and take out all the speakers but i dont know how to rewire the 3 speaker system.any info would be appretiated.i also plan on putting in 2 speakers in the back seats and just get rid of the one in the hatch.

Just ditch all of the BOSE stuff completely, none will work with out BOSE amps due to the very low resistance. It is relativly simple to do a four speaker re-wire. It would be best to run new wire to each location.

ok that plug your talking about just reduces the internal amp in the head unit so it doesnt overpower the stock amps.cody, what do you think im doing, lol.im ditching all the bose speakers and stock amps.im putting jenseens in the front doors getting rid of the hatch speaker completely and putting 2 speakers in the back seats.im not gonna put back the stock speakers and amps that would just be stupid.can you tell me though how i rewire the speakers.like if i have the speakers out and the head unit out and all the wires just sittin there how do i rewire completely.thanks

Exactly, it's very easy to just rip out all the BOSE stuff and run all new wires for your new speakers(mine hopefully) , and get rid of the one in the hatch. You should have no problem with it at all, it's a simple install.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding. What is there to explain? The speaker wires from the back of the head unit are marked LF,LR,RL,RR aren't they? Or it came with an instruction manual? Just get some speaker wire (16g will do) and run it to each speaker. For the two speakers in the door you will want to run the wire through the rubber boot. It's a bitch, but it's the right way to do it. Other then that, it's easy as pie.

Yep pretty straight forward. I would suggest you zip tie the new wiring to existing wiring. And use a hanger to fish stuff through to the door.
