Questions about Tunercat
Questions about Tunercat
I want to try Tunercat, but have two questions.
1. Where you get the defintion files? It was easy to download the trial version of the Tuner, but I don't see the definition files on the site.
2. I vaguely recall that there is some kind of compatibility problem with using Tundercat and LT1_Edit. If I modify my file with Tunercat, will I still be able to use LT1_EDIT?
Thanks.

Rich,
You can convert files back and forth between Tunercat & LT1 Edit with a file conversion utility. Tuner cat is far cheaper and I've used it for some 91 TPI and Syclone programming. I've only ever used LT1 Edit on my 94 Formula.

Rich,
The definition files you get from TC. They also send you some other associated files along with the definition file that you purchase.
Also, the newest version of tunercat allows you to open LT1 Edit files directly...no conversion needed. Not sure about going back to an LT1 Edit file though. I don't think tunercat allows you to save as an LT1 Edit file though. Either way you can just use the file converter.
