PCM not communicating with OBDII 1995 LT1

Back once again to pick your brains, been having a problem with the car running correctly, so I put the scanner on it worked at first but then lost communication and thats where it stands any information would be appreciated.

95 isn't OBD2, its OBD1 with a 16-pin connector just to fool you;-) Was that a typo or did you actually use an OBD2 tool? Very few scanners can do those 94/95 cars. See the stickies here for one I wrote for pc. The only handheld that works as far as I know is the Actron CP9185.

An Actron CP9145 also works. Probably the 9185's older brother.

Yes, his dead older brother ;-) There are some older Autoxray scanners that work also, but I was referring to ones currently available. The older ones that appear on ebay are overpriced and not available for long.
