No Power to scanner?

Over the summer i aquired an auto scanner for my 95 camaro (obd-II pin). Last weekend i figured i would plug in the scanner to my new 97 ws6 with OBD-1 conversion (no SES light, i was just curious). Nothing happened. With the camaro, as soon as i plugged the connector into the connector under the dash, the scanner would fire up and give me instructions to follow. Could it be a bad fuse or something? Thanks guys

If it is the problem its a 20 fuse. I don't remember which one though.

The ALDL connector gets power from the cigarette lighter fuse.

Yep same thing just happened to me. Its most likely your fuse in side interior fuse block. (25 amp fuse)
