I have a 96 Camaro Z28 and I was having problems with the security system (occasionally the alarm would go off for no reason) so I had PCM for less take the Vats out of my PCM so I received my computer installed it and the starter would not engage so I looked at shoebox’s website and found that I needed to disconnect the TDR and connect the yellow and purple wires. So after trying that the starter will engage and the car will run but the alarm goes off and security light turns on as soon as I turn the key and will not stop even with the car running. So far I have tried connecting the yellow/black and black wires together but still the same problem.
