Naw, this is the "s10 Blazer" not the "TrailBlazer"
The Trail Blazer comes with the I6.

 

I have the 96/97 LT1 files but I don't have a bin to try it out on to see whats there. TC mentioned that the final OBD2 LT1 versions wouldn't be released to the public until after December so I may have a beta version. I wish I had a 96/97 car to try it on. Reading it is not a problem, as I can read any OBD2 car with the cable, regardless if its a LS1, LT1 or an old Vortec truck from 1996 and up A neat peice of gear to say the least!

Ever see any GM J-Body ODB2 Ecotec 4 banger defs or hacks. I've got a friend that wants to make one go fast with cams and the whole bit.

Steve, I haven't seen a 4 cylinder hack yet. But maybe TC is up to it I have a friend here in Portland that has a 02 or 03 Chev cavalier and its got the GMPP supercharger kit on it. It runs great but the GM calibration is pig rich and he wants me to tune it. I am thinking about doing a read on it and having TC take a look to see if we can get a definition engineered for it. There is a huge market in the J body market that is totally untapped at the moment as far as tuning goes. The V6 cars are covered by HPT and now DHP, as well as a price war between the two of them

I saw that HPT was supposed to be working on J-body stuff but no date set or even any further discussion for that fact. I would also think that the J-body market would be pretty big. These young-uns aren't afraid to spend some bucks on their tuner cars

My friend ran his stripped J-body with nitrous last summer and was in the low 12's till the Ecotec ah, expired. So he wants to try to run fast NA on his new motor for a while.

 

will this have datalogging capabilities also?
i'm not familiar with the original TC so i have no idea

any group purchases going to be planned in the future?

I doubt the datalogging and with the freedom oyu get, i very much doubt you deserve one for $380.

 

Anyone know when the rest of the obd2 tunercats are coming out. I'm waiting for the LT1 Fbody one. And is it possible that there will be a group purchase in the near future for these? PLEEEEASE, for the sake of poor college students such as myself Great work like this doesn't go unappreciated.

 

TJ mine will be on the way tomorrow.

The biggest question I have had is will HP tunner or LS1 Edit files work. I have both and am hoping not to loss the use of those files and editors.
