Need Help with 02 / Fuel Inj Pulse problem
Need Help with 02 / Fuel Inj Pulse problem
Please take a look at the scan in the attached link, of my new 383 LT4 Stroker. (OBD II) I don't know how to correct this inbalance between the left and right bank.
http://members.localnet.com/~jteague/SCAN47.xls
Throttle Position voltage is .68 at idle
Vacuum is good. Haven't been able to locate any vacuum or exhaust leaks.
Plugs and Wires are new. Tripple checked they are all hooked up to the correct cylinders.
Fuel Pressure is in the mid 40's at idle
Injectors have all been flow tested and are within 2% of each other
02 sensors are new, AND I've tried switching right and left sides and the problem does NOT move with the sensor.
Although not shown in this scan IAC counts are in the low 40's at idle.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Need Help with 02 / Fuel Inj Pulse problem
Dont even bother to log the S2 O2 sensors, they are worthless for info.
I would see if it is the O2 sensors first of all. Swap the front O2 sensors side to side and re-log. If the LTFtrims follow the O2 swap, then the O2s are a bit too different in performance. You could then try the rear O2s in the front positions, do this in an attempt to identify two O2 sensors which are close in performance,,, a 3 to 4% difference can be expected.

Re: Need Help with 02 / Fuel Inj Pulse problem
Good.. Then most likely, the higher flowing fuel injectors are stack on one side. Try fuel injector cleaner for awhile, that could help. If that has no effect, you should consider to have the injectors cleaned and flow tested. If you do that, then evenly disperse the flow rates so they are evenly match side to side. BTW: find out which cylinder tends to run the leanest and put the highest flowing injector in that hole.
Re: Need Help with 02 / Fuel Inj Pulse problem
I am sorry, I never read the bottom part of your initial post. You have done everything that I suggest. However, if the injectors were marked with a number and you still can identify the 4 highest flowing injectors, then stack them all on one side, apparently, stack them on side 2, the pass side.

Thanks Doc.
Attached is a scan of my car, if this might give you any additional insight into my problem.
