LTCC wiring problem...need help
Ok I am just having a problem wiring up the LTCC harness to the stock coil harness. The LTCC harness has two pink that combine to one, one yellow and one white. the stock harness with the grey connector has a pink w/ black stiped wire and a yellow w/black striped wire. the other stock connector has just one wire that is a straight pink wire. I have read some online directions and all say my stock harness should have differ colors. So i am not sure where to wire the LTCC harness wires to my stock coil harness.
Any help would be great
Thanks
Derek

The white from the LTCC goes to the yellow on the ignition control module above the coil and the 2 powers go to the power at the coil. Make sure to upgrade your fuse. Also, if your 94 is like mine, you may have to trim a little piece out of one of the plugs that plugs into the opti harness. Mine had an extra piece that had to be removed or it would not plug in.

Ryan,
Thanks for the help. So I understand where the white goes. I guess the other three wires from the LTCC, the two pink and one yellow, goto the three wires powering the stock coil. But does it matter to which wires I wire them to?
This is a pic of a LTCC

The white wire, if I remember right, is the stage limiter. The 2 pinks go to switched ignition. Yes, I know what the LTCC is... http://www.aldersgarage.20m.com/imag...inefarltcc.jpg
the ltcc directions say the 2 pink wires goes to the stock coil harness's pink with black stripe wire. Thats done. the white wire called the EST input from PCM goes to some wire in the ign module. though i dont know what. the ltcc directions doesnt say much.
does anyone have a up close picture of the wiring on their car? I could realy use that.
Thanks

The two pink wires from the LTCC feed power to the coils. These need to be hot when the ignition is on, so coils will provide the spark. The original coil feed power is a good source. This should be a pink (not pink-w/blk trace) oem wire in oem coil connector. If your instructions state using pink/blk. wire, consider that a boo-boo. Once the oem coil and module are eliminated, the pink/blk. wire goes nowhere (at least in my service manual).
The yellow wire is a trigger. Are you using the LTCC options available in the module this trigger activates? If not, leave disconnected.
The white wire is the EST input from the PCM. This wire is connected to white wire at coil connector.
A good ground is necessary. I trust you changed fuses. HTH

Arnie,
Thanks for the reply. Il try that out and see what happens. And no I am not using the yellow trigger. The reason why I am being so picky on which wires to wire up and not try to guess work it is because I heard I could blow out the LTCC unit. That would suk. If the 2 lights on the LTCC stay on that means a chip a blown out(But can be replaced). So far I have not done that one.
Is there any reading on how to use the trigger? I'd like to use a wet nos system to get a little extra power for my launch on these 28's et slicks I bought. Right now I have 41 degrees adavnced and I dont allow any knock retard. But I would like to press a button to lower my advanved timing for use with NOS.
Thanks

As far as improvising on the wiring of the features/options is concerned, if no other responses, better to check with 'Bob'.bob@bailey-eng.com
Why cant everything be plug and play??? similar to a MSD installation..
If oyu use the MSD connector for GM wouldn't that help with the splicing and stuff??? since you have the connector already you just use butt connectors to connect the pink wires to supply voltage to the coils... and what else?
