I had a similar problem. I had assumed it was a bad O2 sensor, but, the injector wiring was the root cause. A bad injector ground, or, 12volt power source will cause a bank to run low afr. When the PCM entered closed loop mode, it would get really bad. I would ring your injector wires. My app...(97ss 383 LT1 M6 72# Seimens w/ Acceleronics driver, OBD2_PCM using LT1_edit). B.

I had the same problem and it was simply a bad O2 sensor. The sensor wasn't that old either. Also, check your wiring going to the O2 sensors.

Nice post . Seems like you may have reading deficiency disorder. Might want to think it through a bit more next time.

Only at idle, or part-throttle too? Large valve overlap cams will tend to split BLMs at idle RPMs, but then even out during part-throttle.

Otherwise, check the rich side's O2 sensor. If it's old, it may be fouled out, which causes them to read rich, as I've found from personal experience (at idle, went from 128 to 148 with a new sensor, as I had tuned MAF tables to accommodate the fouled sensor).

Unhappy

ok got more info from tuner. we took the o2 sensor out switched from side to side & no change.check heat from headers all cyclinders run close in heat readings but the #3 cyclinder runs 100 degrees hotter than any other cyclinder. tuner thinks bad injector still all new svo 42lb injectors or miss adjusted rockers.bank one still had 15% more fuel while driving vehicle normal.

Now when you say "check your wiring going to the o2 sensors", what exactly are you checking for? A burnt wire?

Yes a burnt wire. I had a couple of the wires touch the header and melt together and cause a lot of problems.

I had a problem very close to yours, after installing a 383LT1 in my 95Z28 it would crank and run perfect but as soon as it was shut off hot and restarted it would begin to skip at cruise speed and clear up at WOT. The bad part about it is it would idle perfect. After recording real time numbers on my code scanner on cold start verses hot start I saw the the left bank injector pulse time double the right when it was hot. The problem was one injector on the left bank quit firing when it was hot and the ECU increased pulse time on the other three injectors to compinsate. I replaced the injectors and cured the problem.
