hyper tech pp plus help
ok so my mechanic recently gave me a hypertech power programmer plus for 95-95 lt1 engines...the only thing is it currently has the obd2 connector on it and i dont know where to get the obd1 plug. also is there any way for me to update it...and also what is that hole in the bottom of the unit with a plug inside it used for??? any help greatly appreciated guys!!!!
..... for 95-95 lt1 engines...
Are you sure the 16-pin cable for the 95's is not actually a 12-pin cable plus an adapter?
What do you want to "update"? The "power program" is useless. The other things that are actually useful - rev limiter, axle ratio, etc. - are just lists to choose from. Nothing that could be updated.
The "power port" at the bottom was intended to be used in the OBD-II (96/97) versions for a plug-inb scanner cartridge, and custom tune cartridges that Hypertech would provide. That feature was not available for OBD-I.
Did you really mean to type that?

Yep, email me if you need assistance. I could probably come up with something relatively inexpensive.
