Red face Help ASR won't turn on

I can't get the asr to turn on and i have taken to get serviced and they checked the computer and it showed nothing. So they did some basic checks and replaced the switch and it still doesn't work. Can somebody give me some suggestions on what the problem might be. I will greatly appreaciate it.

This might be a dumb question- but is ARS Traction Control, if not what is it? I have a TA, so it is probably called somthing different in Pontiac's

Cool

Did you check the relay in the fuse box under the hood? I had Traction Control in my TA but I took it out because it was a Pain in the A$$!! But if I remember correctly, there is a relay in the fuse box under the hood. I use to take it out to diable it- I think.

I just went and checked that and the fuse is fine. Do you know if there sensors at the rear wheels.

There are sensors at every wheel. The Traction Control cars have a different rears in them- The houseing is different. They have speed rings at the ends of the axles behind the Wheel studs. The NON- Traction caontrol cars have one speed ring that is bolted to the ring gear. I only know this because I put a NON- Traction control rear in my car (My car is originaly a tration control car- but I got rid of the Traction Control and the ABS) There is also 2 brake lines going to the rear, instead of 1 like the NON- Traction Control cars.
