RamJet

Just wondering if any of you guys or gals have or know anyone who has a RamJet 350 installed in a car. What kind of gas mileage are they getting? What kind of times are they turning at the track? Just normal stuff like that. I want to know what to expect from mine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

A guy over at Chevytalk.com just put a Ram Jet 502 big block in his 1972 El Camino and came up with over 19mpg on a 100mile run a few weeks ago. Sounds pretty impressive to me! I'm not sure about the 350's, but I would assume they can hold their own as well.

i installed a 350 ram jet in a 66 nova .the engine sounds great nice idle and good drivability.gas milage is around 20 on the highway . not sure around town.the part that i thought sucked was the power it seems to be lacking in that part.i have a 700r behind it with 3.73 gears and i bet it would be lucky to run mid 13's.i was expecting it to be alot stronger than it is.any questions you can email me if you want. rss69camaro@aol.com
