RamJet on a 5.0L 305?

RamJet on a 5.0L 305?

On GMs performance parts site their ramjet says it will fit small block V-8s, cant i just screw getting a new carb and go with a RamJet for a 305? Thanx

It should work no problem. Not sure if it will be too much for a 305, but it should be a great addition for your engine.

Sure, if you don't choke on the price! Save your money and tune up your carb. It will be just as fast.

Really? huh, well i figured fuel injection is better then carbs, but if its the same then ill just possibly look into a LT1/T56 swap and just screw the 305. Thanx again for the replies

Tune that carb, and get some bigger secondary rods. GMPP offers these rods, as well as alot of other parts as part of their 305 to 350HO conversion. Take a look, you might just wanna do what I am doing. Its a great motor, with everything included. I also wanted to go FI, but I love my carb, and they are alot easier to work on, IMO. Parts are also cheaper..... Just my .02 cents. Hope that helps
