k im postin this for a friend, hes got a 82 camaro with a ramjet 350 in it.. he is havin MAJOR problems.. the car will not start or will die.. when the TPS sensor is plugged in the car will not start whatsoever.. notta... with it unplugged the car will start but if you even touch the gas whatsoever the car immediatly shuts off.. no sputter no nothin, immediate shutdown??? we need help FAST!!!

also NO error codes at all... new fuel filter, fuel pump, knock sensor, and TPS sensor

 

put a new sensor in...if it ran before and now it doesn't and it shows that the sensor is bad it would be a good way to go. most places can test them for you.

 

we already replaced it.... still no worky...

 

are you sure its good, plenty of them seem to be bad out of the box.

so the motor worked for ahwile with no problems and now your having this problem or is this a motor swap that isn't working from the start?

 

motor has been runnin awesome for 2 years... now all of a sudden it just turned off.

 

well if the tps is off you need to have it checked anyhow since it isn't working properly. wish i knew more but someone will chime in soon. if you are in a hurry try over at thirdgen.org too.
