I have a 1969 SS 350 that I picked up this summer. Looking to do some engine mods (non-original engine) and some suspension upgrades next spring.

I have a 68 RS, 327/275, glide. Three non stock items: headers, cam and tripower setup. My dad bought it new. First car I ever drove, crashed, etc. Hopefully, will keep it forever.
PS I'm buying a Mini Cooper (one of the old ones) tomorrow. Does anyone know where can I get some info about this limey thing? Somehow I think the sbc will not fit in.

Don't think I posted on this thread yet, but my car is in the signature below. I've had the car for over 20 years, and it had a non-numbers-matching 396 ('65 Impala motor) when I bought it. I plan on dumping the 305 eventually and putting in a fuel-injected small-block ala LT1, LS1 or RamJet 350. It's going to be a while though.

me me me me!!

68 Camaro..been in the shop for quite some time though Hopefully it will be out soon? Nothin fancy, just a 383 with a big shiny thing on top, 2 carbs because 1 wasnt enough. For some reason, they told me to run big tires in the back so I said ok. 4" Harwood glass hood w/a cutout for those 2 carbs that sit too high for I dont know why.

Teetoe_Jones.. That is amassing. That is about one of the coolest chasis set ups i have seen.. I used to be a 1st gen owner. 69 camaro rs yellow, rust free california car. I was young and stupid and solid it, well i am still young and stupid but would never sell one again if i can get one. Anyone wanna trade there first gen for my 4th gen??? Just joking.

COMING SLOWLY. FUEL SYSTEM IS RUN AND DONE. SHORT BLOCK IS ON THE STAND AND I AM FILE FITTING THE RINGS. I GOT VACATION FROM WORK FROM DEC 17TH THROUGH JAN 6TH SO THAT WILL BE THE TIME I CAN REALLY MAKE SOME PROGRESS.

THIS IS THE LONGEST THE CAR HAS EVER BEEN OUT OF COMMISSION, AND I REALLY CAN'T WAIT TO GET THE BEAST RUNNING AGAIN.

I'LL POST SOME PICS AS THE PROGRESS CONTINUES. IF WE WERE SEMI CLOSE IN LOCATIONS, IT WOULD BE COOL TO MEET OUT AT A CHEVY SHOW OR SOMETHING, BUT THAT'LL NEVER HAPPEN SINCE YOUR IN CA AND I'M IN OH. OHH WELL.. :-)

TAKE CARE.

LATER,

MIKE

Thanks lt1camaroman93- I think it will be a decent car when completed.
Chicane67- What's up man, you never call me back anymore. I'm about ready to have you tune my chassis on the C5 based 68, so call me back sometime!

Not a Camaro, but better.....hehehe 69 Firebird with a built to the hilt Pontiac 455. I'd be in the low 10s if I could ever get traction....
