All you fellas with the 17's on your 69's..

Hey, Im wanting to throw some 17 inch Torq Thrust II's on my Camaro.But i was wondering, What back spacing am i going to need and whats the fattest tire i can fit under the back and front without ANY rubbing?Thx for any help, later.

I think it's 17X9.5 in the rear with 5.5 backspacing...not sure what the front are.

Don't hold me to this!

Thanks, atleast u made an attempt. Anyone out there know, cmon wheels need to be ordered like..right now.So id appreciate if u all with 17 inch TTII's would chime in.

Change of mind, i want 17x8's on there.So what back spacing and tire size would u recommend for these rims?

It should be 17x8 with a 4.5 backspace, and 17x9.5 with a 5.5 backspace. I have heard that most guys go with ether a 245 or 255 with the 17x8 and 275 on the back with a 17x9.5. With this setup you should be good. Also this is with a 40 series tire.

also realize that with manuf. tolerances being somewhat questionable at times, what fits with no rubs on someone elses car may not have the same result on yours. Best best is to measure your car before ordering. Most places wont take the wheels back once tires have been mounted.
