? on heat riser install- 68 RS

A friend of mine is installing an original exaust, he needs to know which way the heat riser goes. The weight towards the block ? or towards the fender ? Thanks

I'm fairly sure its towards the fender... but I'll check my 67 RS tonight.

Sorry. 100% definitely towards the fender on my 67 RS. My 68 RS was the same.
