Would this setup have a lot of bass??

2 12" alpine type R subs powered by a JBL 1200.1 amp. in a 1.1 cu in per speaker box?? would it sound better in a ported or sealed box? this is a pretty inexpensive setup $115 per speaker and $295 for the amp from Ikesound. has anyone had any good/bad experiences with Ikesound?? thanks

I had a good experience with Ikesound, great prices too.

Yes there will be a lot of bass, not the best sounding, but there will be a lot. Think about it, almost any 2 subs when powered half decently will be quite loud in a Camaro/Bird.

If you're going with a 1.1 cu box, sealed is the only you can do. Ported boxes need more room to breath.

Even sealed, that setup will bump very hard. Especially in the right box. I had a guy hit over 147 dbs with the same subs and only 700 watts from a kenwood amp.
