Static Problem With A Pioneer unit

I have a 96 Z with the 5 speaker system I took out my factory cassette player and installed a pioneer unit. The only problem is that i get a lot of white noise coming out of the sub and the front speakers. What is going on...... I think it may be the wireing harness b/c i took the deck out of my 97 and put it in my 96

I believe that your system is going to require a special adapter to get it to work with your stock speakers and amp.

you have the Bose system you need a conversion unit, I just ordered one yesterday from www.sounddomain.com costs 35 bucks, they changed systems in 97 to the monsoon or just a regular unit with the amp in the headunit, bose left the camaro scene in 96
