Smile Replacing Stock in my 88 Camarow

i am goin to replace my stock speakers in my 88 camaro ...im not going to go with a whole system for now because it would cost too much.....but what speakers would sound the best??? and if im correct there are only 4 speakes right???is there anything i should know before i replace them???.....thanxs

I have had 5 3rd gens and have tried just about eveything. There a 4x6's in the dash and 6x9's in the sail panels. Both places have depth resrictions. It is impossible to get deep speakers in the dash without messing with a bunch of stuff so just go with a standard 2 way.

I had some pretty big 6x9's in the rear panels but don't plan on them being much more than loud, bass is almost impossible.....
