find specifically where it is rattling and stop it. check the plastic fender covers (specifically screws), jack and handle, license plate, gas door...

sounds like its coming from the spoiler or the hatch itself

From outside the car with the music playing try to isolate the rattle by placing your hand on various parts such as the hatch, spoiler, license plate, gas door, glass, tail lights, berger panel, etc.

If it isn't on the outside then you will have to start on the inside.

The spare tire area is like an echo chamber... it is very open and there is no insulation or sound deadning at all. remove the spare and jack to see if that is it. If not then remove some of the paneling Once you find what it is then you can install sound deadning material or tighten fasteners to make it stop.

Check for tar based adhesive heat shielding material... they aren't as thick and don't deaden as well but they are about half the cost most of the time.

most places that sell performance parts. Most times it is used for wrapping CAI, shield fuel lines from exhaust pipes, keep heat from damaging the hood's paint, etc.

If it is the housings you can buffer them with foam washers, if the covers are separating from the housings you will need to reseal them with RTV adhesive

something like Permatex... you want something to seal as well as hold the part together. There are other products that will work also
