Is this a good amp...?

I am about to buy a guys used Alpine MRV-T505 for 130 shipped. It is the V12 expert series. A 2/1 channel amp, capable of 200 watts RMS which can hand 1 ohm load. This amp has a parametric equalizer, hp & lp capabilities.
Does this sound alright to power my mid range speakers? I don't want necessarily a show system, just something to sound nice. I have a Kenwood KDC-122 cdplayer and I plan on replacing all the factory speakers. I was going to power the four midrange speakers with this amp, and then power a JL audio 10 inch sub with like a Alpine MRV-T320 amp.

So is this a good amp? What the heLl is hp & lp capabilities? Thanks

Sounds like a good deal to me. But I don't see it taking a 1 ohm load into 1 channel. Hp= High pass filter LP=Low pass filter

sounds like a good deal. It may be able to run at 1 ohm, but I dont think you would be running your setup at that

2-channel amps that are stable to 1 ohm when bridged are VERY few and FAR between. And I'm telling you....Alpine doesn't make one.
