i want to smooth out my back panels Where the speakers are in. bu the back seats. kinda like my firend camaro

not where the speakers go but the panel it self. now can i just put resion on there or do i have to lay a sheet of glass?

 

Those are, obviously, totally custom. But If you just want that super smooth water like look for your stock panels...... I think your in for a job. Not even worth it IMO, but if you really want to do all the work.....

You can just use resin, but I suggest you lay it pretty thick and then finish it off with a surfacing agent. Then sand your a$$ off. Lay a layer of Bondo across the whole thing. THEN, guess what, sand some more. You should spend several days sanding. I'm not kidding. Finish with a wet sand and then hit it with some primer. And don't cheap out either. Get quality stuff and spray it from a REAL gun. Not a freggin spray can. Then get yourself some auto paint and spray it several times with thin coats. Do the same with a few clear coats. I told you it was more then a lot of work. Ask your friend how he got his. Or talk to an pro installer......like I said, not even worth it IMO.

 

that looks soooooo good.....can you ask your friend where he got that done???? id like to get something like that done in my car cause im SICK AND TIRED of the plastic body panels being loose falling off....its driving me nuts...the hatch ones specifically ive been looking for something to replace them forever if it didnt look so horrible without them id just take em off.....i saw some dude on here that got rid of all the hatch plastics....I wish i remember his name cause I emailed him asking how he created what he had in place of them and he never replied.
