You have to be f-ing joking....
Yeah and a 315hp Mustang almost beat it.

Next, the Bullit in the video does the 1/4 mi in 13.7 seconds @ 103 mph. The SRT8 in 13.2 seconds @ 107 mph.
You supply evidence to the contrary side of your arguments. I love the fact that you do the homework for me. You might be up for a Darwin award.
What are the good traits about this car again?
I'm reading it's fast (but in comparison to a G8 sedan, which is a "family hauler"...it's within tenths of a second in the 1/4. We're not talking about a full second difference). The G8 is also comparably almost $20k less when market adjustment is factored in at a total MSRP for a Challenger at $50k.
I'm also reading that, besides the shaped seats, the interior appointments are about on par for LX cars, such as the regular Magnum/Charger/300.
The engineers forgot to allow a pass-through driver's seat for rear occupants (if it's an original feature...should we also weld the doors shut to increase body stiffness, Dukes of Hazzard style?)
The V6 version (basically a 2-door LX-car) is going to run in the high 20's low 30's?
Where's JasonE? He usually has some great things to say about Chrysler products...What are the good things about the car?

You said that SRT8 is a "heavy azz" car. Then I give you the fact that GXP will also tip the 4000 lbs. Nothing to say to that?

Allow me to rephrase my deleted post.
How can anyone bet with you, when you are so inconsistent in your posts and twist the facts?
You claimed that the Bullit almost beat SRT8, despite the fact that it was 0.5 seconds slower.
Now, you want to bet that the GXP will "dust" the SRT8? How do you define it? When the GXP is only 0.2 seconds slower than the SRT8?
Seriously. If you actually read the my posts, I did not claim that the SRT8 will be faster, or slower, than the yet-to-be released GXP. I am rather impressed with the performance of the GT, yet my verdict will have to wait once we compare 2009 GXP and SRT8.
Your constant avoidance of responding to challenges just shows who you are...

You still don't get it!
Finally saw an SRT8 on a local dealer's lot. He's a Buick/Gm/Pontiac dealer, who brought the SRT8 from the US. It's listed for $59,000 CDN. The MSRP, according to Dodge's website, is $45,000. That's a nice markup. He did say that an acquaintance of his paid $65,000 CDN to buy his SRT8 from Chrysler.
It was orange in colour, and I like it a lot. I like the large wheels, and the interior is very good looking. It's not as huge when parked with other cars (it was parked outside), and is a rather very appealing car.
At first I didn't understand Guion's obsession with it, but I'm slowly beginning to get it

Yeah and you should have been banned as well for personal attacks.
True to yourself now that's ironic.
