Of that there is no doubt, at which point it simply becomes personal preference. Our 85Z was a beautiful car, but an absolute hunk of junk mechanically. The 99 T/A had no such issues. It made great power, the tranny was awesome, it didn't squeek or rattle, etc, etc. I simply did not care for it after having it for a few months.

To each their own.

BTW...just put a brand new 2004 Redfire Cobra Coupe in the garage last night. Invoice minus $3500 in rebates ($29800). Ford's moving 04s to get ready for the 05s. Lucky for me.

I like how the dash is at teh same level with the hood, so it looks like one long plain. I dont mind the long hood, but the long overhand is what kills it!! Nothing makes my butt pucker up then a dip in the road and hearing that god-awful scrape.
That is a really good point. I scape so much because of stuff like that. It really makes me wonder why the roads were designed like that

What something like the Grand prix? The newer ones can turn on a dime & give you 9 cent back in change.

One more pet peeve about my car: how the taillights hold water and then drip it out over my nice clean car. Grrr! But these are all really minor nitpicky complaints. Awesome work Red Planet, keep it up!

If we're taking orders, I'd like a dash that won't crack in the heat. Every newer GM car I've seen has the dash made out of 1/8" plastic that is way too prone to cracking. Add 2 lbs to the car and make the dash a little thicker so I don't have to buy a new one anytime soon.

Also, a decent rearend would be nice. Nothing worse than having a performance car and not being able to drive it because you're afraid the rearend will grenade.

A full frame wouldn't be a bad idea either. It would definately cut down on the squeaks and rattles.

LOL The trun Radius in the Camaro is crap compaired to the GP. (sorry Scott but it is) I can do a full U (NO Stoping)turn in the GP where in the Camaro (both 3rd & 4th) I would have to do a 2 or 3 point U to get it .

What road we talking about? A camaro can do a U... it'd just be a bigger one

Thats my point the GP (which is a larger car by far) can do a u in a Smaller radius then a Camaro.

Things the 5th gen need changed from the 4th gens.
- cat hump
- shotty interior
- better seats
- larger rear seats

Im sure that all of thoes are gunna be changed due to the construction of Zeta. I would also like to see it remain a "hatchback". I think Im one of the few people that wish it back. I have grown to love it, and I would like to see the Maxx/Nox slide and recline rear seating. Great way to its rear space.
He's talking about the actual head lights. They automatically turn on when their in a dark environment. Like if you through a tunnel they'll automatically turn on then turn back off when you exit the tunnel if its light outside. I really don't seen the problem with them unless your trying to run from the cops at night and you find a nice hiding spot but want to keep your car on . I find it very radical for Guy to say he'll NEVER buy a car if it has auto lights....its a simple thing to delete yourself if you really have a big deal with it.

I would also like to see the hatchback remain.

Yes, thank you. Ive been preaching that for a while now. I dont expect a 9 inch, but c'mon at least the 8.5 style 10 bolt.

As a base model owner, I would like to see that a posi and rear disc brakes become standard across the line. The posi would be nice for people in the snow states.

Then the base price would increase.

Base price should be low as possible for people who want a good looking car, and don't really need speed, or handling, or pure stopping power.

ah, yes well then you can defeat it now in the new cars. All you do is switch it to off, and not auto. Simple. The orange headlights still remain. I freak out now when I get out of my car, and the headlights remain on!! I usualy turn it too the "off" position. Lights go off.
