Wow - you've moved beyond parroting other people's ideas to simply cut-n-pasting your own stuff:

Do you have some sort of macro set up so that you can respond to posts with 3 or 4 canned replies? I gotta get me a setup like that

How is it parroting ideas, IF I happen to agree with someone? I think maybe you just don't like the people's ideas I happen to agree with? Just figured I'd post it here too. Thanks for providing everyone with the link though!! No set-up at all. I'm not that proficient with computers, nor do I have the time for all that! Don't tell me, you've got family in the banking industry too!!

Citi is a totally different situation than the Big three. That kinda banking would confuse most people. I'm not gonna defend all there actions as i really have no clue what they have done wrong and right at this point.

I know the situation requires them to receive huge sums of money to function as they make the economy work. So expect to see them get the money, attention, and political support.
GM pulling up the government ATM is like them showing up to a party they never got invited to and not bringing any beer. Crickets and WTF is all you hear.

Unlike you, I work in the auto industry, and I come from a long line of blue-collar laborers.

You don't know where I work! Did you NOT tell me, way back when I was bashing the press for being lying dogs, that you had family members working in the press? I figured maybe you had some family in the banking industry too. Come on now, it's NOT all that far fetched!! I guess you have no problems then, with politicians who backed the bank bailouts getting all expense paid vacations to St. Martens, on citibank's dime...? Oh wait, wouldn't that be our dime? Call me crazy, but it sounds a little corupt to me!! Then there's Dodd with his bank loan papers he won't release. He may have gotten $75,000 he shouldn't have, but he greased the right banks...I mean palms, so it's all good.....IF this wasn't so damned disturbing, it'd be funny!!

Um, no - I explicitly told you that I don't have any family member who work, or have worked, in the press.

I figured maybe you had some family in the banking industry too. Come on now, it's NOT all that far fetched!!
Clearly, this is the only explanation that your head can formulate. Just keep going with that - eventually, you might be right.

My views on the bailouts of any given industry are far more complicated than the simple matter of where my family works. The easy thing for me to say would be "Hell, yeah, give the automakers all the money they want!", because that'd likely help out not just myself but all my family and friends who have jobs linked to the auto industry.

I WAS a machine operator and maint. mechanic in the paper industry. I don't work in the paper industry anymore! That was years ago. A canadian came in and ran that comapany into the ground! After 30+ years in the business, they where forced to sell everything and lay us all off!! I haven't said where I'm working, and for good reason too!! So maybe it was friends you had in the newspaper business. I remember you telling me something like that, back when I called for the slimes to be backrupted for their lies...I'm NOT proficiant with computers, so I won't be able to find it, but whatever you say Mr. ALL knowing, almighty genious...ALL HAIL ERIC BRYANT....He who knows all!!!

Funny thing is ALOT of our finished products, went to Canadian companies. He basically cut costs by using inferior raw materials, which led to our products turning to ****. It was all about cutting costs for investors. The rest is history! BTW I saw this coming for years, and tried to warn em' many times......I'm just soo dumb, and I'm NEVER right!!!

It's corruption pure and simple, right under the nose of a blinded public! A public that suffers from GM Derangement Syndrome....
